Welcome to my personal portfolio! I’m Pomponiu, artist and educator. This page is a business card, designed to showcase my artistic creativity, academic journey, and professional skills. Through this platform, I aim to connect with fellow creatives and visionaries who share the same passion for innovation and the transformative power of art. 

My Story

Art has always been at the core of who I am, deeply rooted in my upbringing. My father, an engineer, instilled in me a love for precision and innovation, while my mother, a university art teacher and beloved artist who also worked as an art restorer and museographer at the National Village Museum in Bucharest, nurtured my creative spirit in harmony with nature. She taught me to respect and treasure natural and cultural heritage, folklore, and traditions, and introduced me to the universe of composition, form, color, light, and shadow. Growing up, I was surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of the museum and the vibrant energy of art fairs, where I spent countless hours immersed in the world of colors and creativity. This passion led me to pursue a PhD in Performance Arts, where I immersed myself in the theory, practice, and transformative power of artistic expression. My academic journey facilitated a profound exploration of the intersection between art and education, integrating creative practice with scholarly inquiry to push the boundaries of contemporary performance arts. 

In addition to my PhD, I hold a Teaching Degree II, which has enabled me to share my knowledge and passion with others. Teaching has become an integral part of my career, allowing me to inspire and mentor the next generation of artists while continuing to evolve as a creative professional myself.

My Mission

I am passionate about exploring the fusion of nature, technology, and art for a brighter tomorrow and sustainable evolution. Through this portfolio, I aim to craft cathartic experiences that encourage growth and transformation through creativity.
